Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014

It gets cold on the sidelines in fall and winter, and when it does, players bundle up in heavy jackets like this awesome example from the Atlanta Falcons. This 1990s black hooded (and armless) nylon full-length parka with “Falcons” screened across the back is heavily lined for those cold and windy days, and is huge to provide for shoulder pad space. What an excellent coat for your next ourdoor game. And we’re not finished. We have a San Francisco 49ers practice jersey worn by center Bart Oates in circa-’94-’95, with this white jersey with red rubberized numbers and stripes having a “Russell Athletic size 52” patch sewn on the hem, with marks noticeable on the collar, shoulder area, and on both sleeves. The left shoulder also has three team repairs to note. We also have a 1990s Baltimore Colts pre-season game-worn jersey with a “Sally” nameplate (unknown), and which has a patch sewn on the hem reading “Russell Athletic 48”. Marks are scattered about and paint flaking has occurred on the numbers (76), with a team repair on the right sleeve and a couple of unrepaired holes on the left sleeve.
