Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
Vintage mid-‘70s game-worn jersey from TSV Lechbruck of the German Hockey League, a team that played in Regionalliga South for the championship of Germany in 1965-66, 1975-76, 1976-77, and 1977-78. This red and white gamer with the understated Lechbruck crest sewn on the left breast measures approximately 20” from armpit to armpit and 29” from collar to hem. It features the white #17 sewn on the back and on both sleeves, and has the felt-like “Lechbruck” name heat-pressed on the upper back. This gamer shows a team repair both on the right sleeve and right breast, with an unrepaired hole near the back “Lechbruck” name. The white collar has some age yellowing, the inside tag has been cut off, and the material under the both arms has let go from its stitching. A fine gamer, and one you won’t see every day.
