It was a formidable Canadian squad indeed that suited up for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy, with the likes of Iginla, Lecavalier, Nash, and Richards up front and the combination of Foote, Niedermayer, Pronger, and the hard-hitting Rob Blake on the back end. Offered is Blake's game-worn jersey from these Olympic Games, with an "IIHF" tag in the collar while printed above is the Nike logo and size 62. The partially embroidered iconic Team Canada logo adorns the front of this gamer, with the Team Canada patches on both shoulders, while Blake's nameplate in simple black lettering is on the back, above the red and black double tackle twill number "4". A scattering of marks are on the front of the jersey, as are some on the right sleeve and cuff as well. The Nike inventory bar code label is on the inside hem. An awesome Olympic gamer from a key blueline bruiser. This set of white Nike Swift Team Canada uniforms features ground-breaking technology and was worn by members of the Canadian squad throughout three of the six games in Turin, Italy during the 2006 Winter Olympic Games. The three matches included the exhibition opener vs Italy, the February 18th game vs Switzerland and the February 22nd game vs the Russians. Each player wore three uniforms over the tournament: one white, one red and one black alternate.
