Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
Definitely one of the most desirable signatures in the hobby is that of the great Jacques Plante, who was inducted into the HOF in 1978 and who passed away in 1986 at the age of just 57. His was a career that began in 1952 and ended in 1975, suiting up first with the Habs, where he made his mark and bravely brought forth the mask that was the beginning of saving all goaltender's good looks, and then the Rangers, Blues, Leafs, Bruins, and Edmonton Oilers of the WHA. Offered is a gorgeous Plante signature on the back of a 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" Habs/Molson B&W card, signed in his distinct style using blue ballpoint pen. This card has been authenticated and encased by PSA/DNA.
