The night Martin Brodeur surpassed Patrick Roy as the NHL's all-time goalie wins leader the New Jersey Devils great cut the mesh netting off his goal to keep as a souvenir. Included in this lot of memorabilia from Brodeur's record-breaking 552nd win on March 17, 2009 is a cut portion of that netting that comes with a COA. All 10 items are from the collection of Marty's father, the late Denis Brodeur, including his ticket and courtesy pass from the milestone game, a 3-2 win over Chicago. Featured among the other items are two 8x10 photos each signed by Marty in bold marker. Also included are two Brodeur 552 souvenir mini goalie sticks, a Brodeur 552 button, a Brodeur 552 poster that measures 20” x 13” with the date, score and opponent of each of his wins listed in chronological order on the back, and a Friday, April 3, 2009 Devils Center Ice program with a Brodeur 552 cover photo of Marty cutting the net off the goal after his milestone win.
