Great grouping of All-Stars in this collection of four game-used sticks featuring Gary Roberts, Alexander Mogilny, Owen Nolan and Jason Arnott.
Roberts placed a red marker dedicated signature on the shaft of his Hespeler 5500 wood gamer which retains his tape jobs on the knob and blade. “G. Roberts” is stamped in red on the shaft and his number “10” is handwritten in black marker below his red gauze tape knob. Gary’s autograph with his number 10 is plain to in the middle of the shaft though his dedication is obscured by the “ER” in the red Hespeler stamp. Roberts’ tape job on the blade has worn through along the bottom edge. There is a chip on the top edge of the blade.
A 76-goal scorer in 1992-93, Mogilny scored 473 goals and 559 assists for 1,032 points in 990 regular season games. “Mogilny 89” is stamped in black on the front of the shaft of Alex’s Sher-Wood PMP 7000 wood game-used stick which retains his tape jobs on the knob and blade. There are a couple of chips on the top edge of the bare portion of the blade towards the heel of this otherwise solid and crack-free gamer.
Nolan has signed in black marker on the toe of the blade of his Louisville gamer with a chip on the bottom edge of the toe. “Nolan” is stamped on the shaft just below Owen’s white tape job on his custom-shaved handle and knob. Nolan’s tape job also remains on the heel of the blade, worn through completely on the bottom edge.
Arnott scored the 2000 Stanley Cup-winning goal in overtime for the New Jersey Devils. His Easton two-piece gamer features an A/C Convex composite shaft and a black Easton wood blade insert with “Arnott” stamped on it. Jason’s original white tape jobs remain on the blade and knob.
