Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
Big league pants, socks, helmets and goalie pads offered to make sure you look your best the next time you hit the ice for the local team. First up – a game-used pair of Washington Capitals C.C.M pants, with the stars running down the sides, and with the “Washington Capitals” logo sewn on the front of one leg. These gamers show plenty of game-wear, with a scattering of marks and small material rips in places. We have an old pair of purple and gold L.A. Kings pants, with one thigh pad missing but otherwise in nice condition; a nice pair of Minnesota North Stars black pants with stars on each leg, and with the embroidered North Stars logo sewn on one leg. These gamers show marks and scuffs but remain in excellent condition. We also have a couple of pairs of Pittsburgh Penguins pants, both showing the Penguins logo sewn onto the front along with the NHL log, with one pair being intact and the other missing both thigh pads. Both are in great shape overall (except for the missing thigh pads). Four pairs of big leagues socks are included as well - a game-issued Flyers pair (1984-97), with number “15” handwritten on each, a pair each of game-issued 1980-88 L.A. Kings socks, plus a pair of generic socks. Also included are two pairs of skate socks, one blue with number “4” sewn in, and the other yellow. Next we have a great set of goalie’s pads, a goalie’s helmet and mask, and a skater’s helmet, beginning with the terrific pair of Vaughn Legacy pads in blue, brown and yellow colors, which could make it either Atlanta Thrashers or Florida Panthers colors, and which show nice marks and scuffs but yet retain great condition with all straps and leather intact. We also have a Franklin store sold goalie’s helmet and mask in purple, grey and black, with L.A. Kings logo graphics on both sides and the Kings “crown” logo on the front. An “NHL” logo is also on the helmet. This helmet shows various marks, scuffs, and nicks throughout. Lastly, a white C.C.M. helmet with an American flag sticker on one side and number “44” on the back. “EMC2” stickers are on each side of the helmet as well. This helmet shows some game use with several marks scattered about.
