Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
Six pairs of pro gloves offered here to make either an interesting display, or to help outfit the neighborhood road hockey team. We have a pair of L.A. Kings CCM gloves in their classic gold and purple colors, with the Kings’ “crown” logo sewn onto each and which shows light game wear. Next, a pair in Stars' colors of black and green C.C.M Pro-gards, with game wear showing in the palms but no holes, and retaining nice condition overall. A terrific pair of Canucks gloves from the 1990s follow, with their bright red, yellow and black colors and with the Canucks logo sewn onto each cuff. These gloves were probably never worn and are in immaculate condition. Next, a pair of black, grey and white, Kings'colors, by Rawlings also probably never used and in terrific condition. Then we have what looks to be a vintage set of Pittsburgh Penguins mitts made by Rawlings, with lots of game wear including palm holes on both, and leather which has come apart at the cuff on one. Finally a classic pair of brown and black Rawlings gloves circa 1960s-70s, with wear in the palms which includes a scattering of small holes.
