Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014

Forward Greg Johnson’s captain’s “C” rests nicely on the left breast of Johnson’s game-worn Nashville Predator’s jersey, donned during the 2003-04 campaign, Johnson’s second to last season in the bigs before hanging them up. Tagged in the collar as a size “54” with his number “22” handwritten alongside, this gamer shows marks scattered about the back and on both sleeves, with several substantial marks on the front. Board burns are noticeable on both sleeves, and a team repair is on the right sleeve. Puckering on the team crest is evident as well. On the inside hem is a “Cutting Edge Set 1” Predators patch, plus a MeiGray registry patch with numbers that match the LOA signed by representatives of MeiGray and the NHL. Nice gamer from a fellow who laced ‘em up with Detroit, Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Nashville during his 785-game NHL career.
