Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014

Solid D-man Roman Hamrlik, who spent 20 years as an NHL big-leaguer before retiring in the fall of 2013, donned this Habs gamer during the 2010-2011 campaign, his final season with the bleu, blanc et rouge before heading south to the Washington Capitals. Tagged in the collar as a size 58, this “Home Set 2” gamer has “2” handwritten in black marker above the size tag, with Hammer’s back number “44” showing small amounts of puckering. Faint marks are noticeable on the numbers as well. A Canadiens registry patch is sewn on the inside hem with numbers which match the enclosed LOA signed by a representative of the Canadiens, and a hologram on the back number also matches the one attached to the LOA. A gorgeous Habs game-worn jersey, with the classic triple tackle twill crest and double twill numbers, worn by a blueline mainstay who tallied a very fine 1395 games during his NHL career.
