Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
It was a long and winding road for Czech-born forward Petr Nedved, a road that involved defection from his native land at just 17 years old to pursue a hockey career in North America, a road that saw him suit up with 7 different NHL teams between 1990 and 2007, and finally full circle back to the Czech Republic where he played for his home town team. We have Nedved's game-worn New York Rangers jersey from the 2002-03 campaign, an alternate "Liberty" 3rd jersey tagged in the collar as a size "56", with marks lining both sleeves and also noticeable on the front against the dark blue colors. An unrepaired hole is on the left sleeve as well, while on the inside hem is a "MeiGray Game-Worn" registry patch with the number matching the one on the included MeiGray LOA.
