The Islanders' dynasty of the early-1980s made it four straight Stanley Cups in the spring of 1983. Led by HOFers Potvin, Trottier, Bossy, Gillies and Smith, the Isles handed Wayne Gretzky's up-and-coming Edmonton Oilers a lesson in what it takes to win the Cup by outscoring them 17-6 overall in a four-game sweep. Dazzling gold pendant with "14K" stamped on the reverse features four shimmering zirconias set in the face with "Stanley Cup Champions 1983" in raised gold around the tableau. It weighs around 15 grams and measures about 3/4" x 3/8". Very nicely preserved with surface scratches/nicks only observed with a close look and small tarnish on the side, the pendant was professionally modified by a jeweler who removed clasps on the sides and added one on the top.
