A mostly non-sport grab bag here to tell you about, with however sports cards, in the way of ten 1912 Imperial Tobacco C46 baseball cards, carrying the most weight and highlighted by a half dozen crease-free VG-EX examples; #s 8-Nattress, 11-Demmitt, 25-French, 30-Purtell and 65-Gandil are Montreal players, with Toronto’s 70-Fitzpatrick completing the six-pack. Four others are in the F-G range and include 24-Silton, 39-Carroll, 78-Hardy and 90-Curtis. A 1911 Ogden’s (blue back) 50-card complete Boy Scouts set shows light to moderate handling and averages VG-EX with several EX cards present, while a 1957 Parkhurst Adventures of Radisson set also features 50 cards and is in similar VG-EX condition, despite a handful of creased VG examples. Most notable amongst the rest are (38/56) Imperial Tobacco of Canada “Motor Cars” cards from the 1920s, with a majority being crease-free and EX, a G-VG gold-bordered “Bird Series” near set (29/30 cards - missing #18) which is very similar to the 1911-12 T43 Mecca "Bird Series" but with no “Mecca” on the backs and (24) unidentified blank-back, mostly crease-free VG-EX cards picturing pretty women waving the flag of their respective country. Miniature real photos (25) picturing monasteries in Washington, D.C. are in tiptop shape and intriguing, with (23) Topps Robin Hood low grade cards from 1957 and over a hundred various bird and animal (British) tobacco cards completing, the majority of the latter having been affixed in albums and exhibiting back damage. Overall, a swell variety to have some fun with.
