Clarence Campbell, the man who ruled the NHL with an iron fist from 1946 to 1977 from his offices at the Sun Life Building in Montreal, the man who suspended Maurice Richard in 1955 which led to the St. Patrick’s Day Riots at the Montreal Forum, and a HOFer inducted in 1966, has signed this small Hockey Hall of Fame black & white photo in clear and smudge-free blue ballpoint pen, and which has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA. An important signature from a Rhodes Scholar who served as a prosecution lawyer at the Nuremburg trials before becoming top dog in the National Hockey League. Campbell, who was the NHL’s 3rd president, would pass away in 1984 at the age of 78.
