Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
They were a Quebec City-based minor pro team, a team that belonged in the Canadian-American Hockey League from 1926 to 1928, then the Eastern Canada Hockey Association for the 1931-32 campaign before returning to the CAHL from ’32 to ’35. Offered is a tremendous 12” x 12” colored picture of the ’32-’33 Beavers squad, looking like a million bucks in their blue and white sweaters with the Beaver crests, with the sharp-dressed suits smiling at the top. The picture shows rough edges, with various tears repaired by yellowed tape, and with creasing in places, but although the condition isn’t perfect, it remains sharp and clear and would look sensational in a frame.
