Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
The Boston Bruins would topple the hometown Ottawa Senators 3-1 on the night of January 8th, 1931, and we have the 2-page foldout program from that game, with the lineups featured and surrounded by advertisements. Boston suited up the likes of Thompson in goal, with Shore, Hitchman, Owen, Clapper, Galbraith and Weiland, while the Sens included stars such as Connell, Smith, Touhey, Finnegan and Kilrea. Sens stalwart King Clancy had been sent to the Leafs prior to this season. This great program, measuring 6" x 9", has been preserved in remarkable condition with no tears or crease, and just one small area of marks on an inside corner.
