The infamous Broad St. Bullies would hoist Lord Stanley’s mug in the spring of both 1974 and 1975, and we have took Stanley Cup Final programs from both years, including May 12, 1974, (game 3) when the Flyers would beat the Bruins 4-1 at the Spectrum, and May 16, 1974 (game 6), when Boston would win 5-1 at the Garden. Both programs measure 8 ½” x 11”, with the May 12th issue totalling 134 pages with complete, intact and unmarked pages, showing a touch of wear, particularly on the back cover, while the May 16th program from Boston has 64 pages complete and intact, with the middle lineup pages having handwritten numbers in pencil on both pages. Otherwise, the program is in excellent shape. From the 1975 Cup Finals between the Flyers and Buffalo Sabres, we have 2 programs from Buffalo/Flyers series, with 1 being from May 18, 1975 (game 2), when the Flyers edged the Sabres 2-1, and other is from Buffalo, and although undated, we think it’s from May 22nd, 1975 (game 4), when the Sabres defeated the Flyers 4-2. The Flyers program is a 140-pager, complete, intact, and mark-free, while the Buffalo program includes the lineup page but is missing several middle pages. Both programs remain in good condition with the Buffalo issue having a few scratches on the front cover while the Flyers program shows light cover creasing.
