Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014

For the 7th time in 11 years, the 1966 Montreal Canadiens would capture the Stanley Cup, with this particular Habs edition led by Henri Richard, who would score the winner in overtime in game 6 against the opposing Detroit Red Wings. We have a game 5 program from the dramatic series, when the Habs would win 5-1 and take a 3-2 series lead, with the Montreal Forum 56-pager in sensational condition with a tiny corner tear on the back cover, a small handwritten “1965-66” on the front, and otherwise unflawed with all pages complete and intact. The Canadiens would hoist the Cup 2 days later in Detroit, and it was Wings goaltender Roger Crozier who was awarded the playoff MVP Conn Smythe Trophy in a losing cause.
