Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014

The Black Hawks won their third Stanley Cup in 1961 with a six-game win over Detroit in the final. This Chicago Stadium Review program features a cover photo of Lord Stanley’s precious silver chalice. Lou Marcon’s name is handwritten and Pronovost’s name is crossed out in blue ink on the Wings lineup page, which dates this program to Game 3, a 3-1 win for the Black Hawks on April 10. Those are the only notations in this beautifully preserved complete 28-page (covers included) playoff program which measures 9x6 with a very faint vertical fold and light crease on the front cover and first few pages.
