The Red Wings had a hard time closing out Montreal in the 1954 Stanley Cup final after winning three of the first four games. This Olympia playoffs program is from Game 5 on April 11, when Ken Mosdell scored in overtime as the Habs stayed alive with a 1-0 win. Detroit's Tony Leswick got credit for the Cup winner in double overtime of Game 7 when Doug Harvey batted the puck into his own net. Complete and wonderfully preserved 36-page (including covers) program measures 9x6 with the date of the game stamped on the top right of the cover page. Holes are punched through the top and bottom left corners just beside the spine.
