Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014

Talk about a showcase piece for your shelf! A beautiful 24" trophy presented to HOFer Max Bentley (ind. 1966, dec. 1984) from the Black Hawk Standbys Club, after the legendary player and Hart Trophy winner had tallied 31 goals and 30 assists in just 47 games which was enough to win not only the Hawks' scoring championship but also the league's point race, 9 better than Toronto's Gaye Stewart and 11 more than Chicago's Clint Smith and Montreal's Toe Blake. This gorgeous trophy, standing 20" on top of a 3 1/2" black wooden base, has had the player at the top reglued under the skates, but overall has been preserved in nice condition with only some surface scratching and general aging to mention. The wooden base has some paint chipping and scratching but remains in nice condition as well. As a capper, we're including a numeric photo on CD showing the trophy in the Bentley family room, along with an LOA from Classic Auctions.
