Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014

The great Terry Sawchuk won his fourth Vezina Trophy in 1964-65 in his first of three seasons with Toronto when he and fellow HOFer Johnny Bower gave the Maple Leafs a formidable goaltending tandem that led to a Stanley Cup in 1967. The deceased HOFer's Maple Leafs CCM Custom Pro game-used stick displays the "Sawchuk" stamp on the shaft and retains his original tape jobs remain on the blade, paddle and knob, the latter featuring white tape wrapped over black. Nicely preserved Sawchuk gamer has good wear on the bottom edge of the tape job on the blade with light chips at the toe. More game wear shows in red goalpost paint transfer on the shaft.
