Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
For the 3rd straight year, 1964, the Leafs captured the Stanley Cup, and we've got the ticket stubs from the Gardens to keep the memories alive! We've got the game 4 semifinals stub from April 2nd, when the Leafs beat the Habs 5-3, and the game 6 stub from April 7th when the Leafs shutout the Habs 3-0. There's the stub from game 1 of the finals on April 11th when Toronto beat Detroit 3-2, game 5 on April 21 when Detroit edged the Leafs 2-1, and last but not least, there's the stub from April 25th when Toronto captured the Cup by blanking the Wings 4-0 in game 7. And we include the subscriber's '63-'64 season pass card with the games punched out. We’re adding more to the lot by including two pairs of regular-season tickets from March 11, 1964 when Toronto beat Montreal 1-0, and March 21st, the final game of the regular season, when the Leafs beat Detroit 5-3. Condition-wise sees the pair of March 11 regular-season tickets showing a bit of wear, while the other pair is in excellent shape. Of the playoff stubs, 4 of the 5 are in great condition although the owner detailed the results on the backs of each. The game 6 semifinal stub, which saw the Leafs beat the Habs 3-0, is in quite worn condition. We’d also like to stress that the Stanley Cup game 7 stub is in wonderful shape.
