Syl Apps and Turk Broda are among the six deceased HOFers featured on this 1946-47 Stanley Cup champion Toronto Maple Leafs team-signed sheet. The Leafs won the Cup for the third time in six years, beginning a record run of three consecutive wins to close out the decade. Coach Happy Day has signed at the top of the 8x5 sheet that features 18 vintage Maple Leafs autographs, including Kennedy, Watson and Poile. Calder Trophy winner Howie Meeker, who beat out Gordie Howe for NHL rookie-of-the-year honors, has signed on the right side. Bob Goldham signed in fountain pen again over his original autograph at the bottom. Rookie Bill Barilko's signature is not here as he spent most of the season with the Hollywood Wolves and was not with the Leafs when this sheet was signed. From top to bottom the sheet is signed by Day, Thomson, Boesch, Apps, Bodnar, Poile, Watson, Nick Metz, Ezinicki, Kennedy, Klukay, Mortson, Broda and Goldham. Lynn has signed diagonally on the upper right with Meeker and Stanowski further down on the right side. Nicely preserved with fold creases and a small tear on the upper left edge that does not touch Day’s signature.
