Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
As another in a long line of fundraising campaigns for the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation, the Montreal Canadiens wore jerseys with patches on the right breast that read "La Fondation Des Canadiens Pour L'Enfance" during the warm-up before the March 31th, 2013 game against the Ottawa Senators, which the team later sold to the public. Offered is star netminder Care Price's such jersey, tagged in the collar as a "Goalie Style size 58", with the back #3 signed in clear black marker by Price. A small scattering of marks are on the left sleeve, and a hologram on the back #1 matches the the one on the included team LOA signed by Head Equipment Manager Pierre Gervais. A Canadiens "Game-Worn Jersey" registry patch sewn on the inside hem also matches numbers on the LOA.
