Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
A striking, jaw-dropping ensemble for Canadiens collectors and fans of Tex Coulter is this marvelous find of original Coulter artwork. Destined to appear in a Habs coloring book which was never produced(!), the drawings are done on either illustrator boards or thick cardboard measuring in the 10" by 14" neighborhood. There are two different of several players including autographed pieces of Henri Richard (2), Laperriere (2), Ferguson, Rousseau and Backstrom. Two different of Cournoyer, Provost, Talbot, Gilles Tremblay, Balon, Roberts, Larose and Hicke, and singles of coach Blake, Harris, Watson, Duff, (joined Habs in 1964-65), a Canadiens logo with crossed hockey sticks and Sam Pollock/Andy Galley complete the jackpot. Appearing to have been done in pencil and then black ink, the splendid, likely one-of-a-kind finds will make for an extra special addition to your Habs/Tex Coulter shrine!
