Team Canada would capture a silver medal in the 1981 Canada Cup, and the boys were later presented with gorgeous rings for their effort. Offered is center Butch Goring's 10 karat gold ring from this tournament which was just the second Canada Cup ever held. Featuring the raised half maple leaf Team Canada logo on the face and surrounded by "Coupe Canada Cup" along with four embedded diamonds, this understated size 6 1/2 beauty includes one shank having a raised "19" and other "81". Engraved on the interior is "10 KG", with the ring, which weighs about 16 grams, exhibiting moderate wear with light scratching, and otherwise is in great condition. A historic and beautiful treasure from the collection of Butch Goring, complete with an LOA from Goring, who would notch 3 goals and 2 assists in 7 games.
