The New York Islanders finished the '80-'81 season with 110 points for the league's best, and this banner year was center Butch Goring's first full campaign with the Islanders after playing just 12 regular season games and playoffs the previous season. Goring would respond with 23 goals and 37 assists to help his Islanders squad to their first-place finish. Offered is Goring's personal silver-plated Clarence Campbell Bowl trophy, measuring 11" including a three-inch six-sided wood base. This little beauty is beautifully preserved with very light spots of tarnish, engraved on one side is "Robert "Butch" Goring New York Islanders 1980-81", while the other side states "Clarence S. Campbell Bowl 1968". A gorgeous personal trophy from Butch Goring, and includes its original blue cotton carrying bag and an LOA from Mr. Goring.
