Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2014
The late Emile "Butch" Bouchard won the Stanley Cup four times as a member of the Montreal Canadiens. A stalwart on the blue line, the big defenceman anchored the Habs' defence during the Punch Line era that saw Montreal win a pair of titles in the mid-1940s before winning two more Cups as team captain in the 1950s. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1966, Butch received this modern navy blue wool blazer jacket with the HOF's "Honoured Member" patch on the left breast after the Hall moved into its current home in downtown Toronto. Zignone of Italy tagging is sewn on the lining over the inner left breast pocket. No size is indicated though we measure it out to about a size 50. In wonderful condition, it comes with Butch Bouchard's signed LOA. Also included is Butch’s Hockey Hall of Fame zipper-front windbreaker jacket with Starter and size XL tagging in the neck. Features a nice embroidered modern HHOF logo on the left breast and tags attached by plastic ties to the left cuff.
