Deceased HOFer Emile "Butch" Bouchard's 1947 NHL All-Star Game leather jacket is a spectacular modern creation by the Roots company presented to players who took part in the inaugural ASG at Maple Leaf Gardens. "Made especially for Emile Bouchard in honour of your participation in the 1947 NHL All-Star Game" reads the red thread embroidery on the patch sewn on the lining of the inner right breast pocket of this beauty made for the Montreal Canadiens great on the occasion of the 2000 NHL All-Star Game at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Button-front bomber jacket with Roots tagging and a size XXL flag tag in the neck features spectacular patches, including a huge chenille NHL crest sewn on the back with five embroidered stars arched above it. In near-new condition, it comes with Butch Bouchard's signed LOA. Left sleeve has a sewn-on Roots 2000 puck and stick patch sewn on. Roots label sewn on the inside left breast pocket with a vintage NHL shield states that the jacket “commemorates the 1947 inaugural NHL All-Star Game and celebrates the 50th Anniversary All-Star Game, both played in Toronto.”
