The 2010 Edmonton Eskimos honored their 1975 Grey Cup champions team with spectacular 1970s-style retro jerseys, including this game-worn beauty sported by quarterback Jared Zabransky. The Eskimos wore these turn-back-the clock gamers for their August 6, 2010 game against the Toronto Argonauts. Zabransky, who had 209 rushing yards in 2010, was wearing this 1970s retro gamer when he ran for his only touchdown of the season in Edmonton’s 29-28 loss to the Argonauts at Commonwealth Stadium. Reebok 2010 CFL Retro 1970s tagging sewn inside the front tail of the elasticized hem displays “Edmonton Eskimo Football Club, Founded April 10, 1949, Grey Cup Championships: 13” with size 48 and 4” L.B. flag tags on the right side. Elite Eskimos 2010 team patch is sewn inside the rear tail. Solid gold twill numbers are sewn on the front, back and both shoulders, and “Zabransky” is spelled out in gold twill letters sewn directly onto the back of the jersey. CFL 2010 Retro 1970’s patch is sewn on the front of the collar and Elite Sportswear flag tag is sewn in the back of the neck. Jared’s number “5” is written in black marker on the inside of the neck behind the Reebok logo embroidered on the back of the jersey just below the collar. A Rona sponsor’s patch is sewn on the right breast and a Scotiabank sponsor’s patch is sewn on the left breast. Rubberized gold and white sleeve stripes are heat-screened. Best of obviously light wear on this single-use throwback game-worn jersey shows in faint wear on the shoulders.
