Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013

The 1984 San Francisco 49ers won the team’s second Super Bowl title in four years. Quarterback Joe Montana led the 49ers to an NFL-leading 15-1 regular season record and playoff wins over the New York Giants and Chicago to make it to Super Bowl XIX. Montana outgunned Miami’s Dan Marino to win his second Super Bowl MVP award in San Francisco’s 38-16 win over the AFC champion Dolphins on January 20, 1985 at Stanford Stadium. Montana and fellow HOFer Ronnie Lott are among the 37 blue ballpoint autographs on this team-signed “San Francisco 49’ers, World Champions” Wilson football. Dwight Clark, Max Runager, Wendell Tyler, Guy McIntyre, Todd Shell, Michael Carter, Manu Tulasosopo, Mario Clark, Derrick Harmon, Dan Bunz, Carl Monroe, John Ayers, Mike Walter, Ray Wersching and Bill Ring are among the other members of the Super Bowl champs who have signed, with all bold autographs except for one faded example on the white panels with lots of crazing that does not diminish the signatures or their display.
