Awesome pair of signed baseball jerseys features HOFers Steve Carlton and the late Duke Snider. Carlton’s #32 was retired by the Phillies and Snider’s #4 was retired by the Dodgers.
A four-time Cy Young winner and 10-time All-Star, Carlton signed with the notation “HOF 94” in gold paint pen on the dark red twill “2” sewn on the back. A PSA/DNA sticker applied to the bottom of the autographed number has a registry number that corresponds to the one on the PSA/DNA COA that accompanies this signed jersey. Flannel-looking poly-cotton blend jersey has Cooperstown Collection and size XL flag tags in the neck, with a Cooperstown Collection tag attached to the latter by a plastic tie.
The Duke won two World Series with the Dodgers, the team’s first and only win in Brooklyn in 1955 and their first in Los Angeles in 1959. An eight-time All-Star, he hit 407 home runs and drove in 1,333 runs. Snider, who was elected to the HOF in 1980 and died in 2011, placed a bold silver paint pen autograph across the blue twill number “4” sewn on the back of this Dodgers jersey. A James Spence Authentication sticker is applied to the top of the signed number with a registry number that corresponds to the one on the JSA COA that accompanies the jersey. Majestic Genuine Merchandising tagging is sewn on the left front tail and Majestic and size M flag tags sit in the back of the neck with an MLB tag attached to the latter by a plastic tie.
