Canadian boxing great George Chuvalo fought for heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali's world title at Maple Leaf Gardens on March 29, 1966. Chuvalo went the distance against Ali, losing a 15-round decision. He signed two of the items offered, including a framed vintage original 8x10 of the Ali title bout which George has signed in bold silver paint pen along with "MLG" and the date of the fight at the bottom. Chuvalo also signed a right-handed Everlast boxing glove with the notation "Keep Punching" in bold black marker. Also featured is a framed 8x10 AP wirephoto of George with Joe Louis. Comes with COAs for autographs. Chuvalo’s signed boxing glove comes with a display case that stands 8” tall overeall with a 17” x 8 1/2" base and a 15” x 6 1/2" clear plastic cover.
