Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2013
The 2007 season was a banner year for John McDonald, who had career highs in doubles, RBIs and stolen bases. John's Blue Jays game-worn cool base jersey has "6 07 S1" tagging sewn into the back of the neck for his jersey number, the season and team set. The Sam Pollock patch was sewn onto the right sleeve in August after the Hockey Hall of Fame GM and former Jays chairman and CEO passed away. Majestic size 44 patch is heat-screened onto the left front tail. Comes with a Blue Jays COA. Best of game wear is a mark above the right side of the embroidered Jays logo sewn on the front. Comes with a 5x7 photo of McDonald wearing the jersey during the Jays’ game against Tampa Bay on Sept. 28, 2007, when this gamer was authenticated by MLB. The MLB Authentication logo hologram sticker is affixed to the top of the number sewn on the back. There is a Majestic Cool Base flag tag on the bottom of the left seam.
