Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2013
With a .358 career batting average HOFer Rogers Hornsby makes a solid claim to being the greatest right-handed hitter in baseball history. Hornsby, who was inducted into the HOF in 1942 and died in 1963, signed the autograph cut featured in this big framed display. He is pictured in his Cardinals uniform in a pair of 8x10 photos included along with the 2" x 4" cut that displays a big Hornsby black fountain pen ink autograph. An auction LOA from PSA/DNA for the autograph cut accompanies this professionally framed display, which features a Hornsby plaque and NL and Cardinals pins at the bottom of the 21" x 26" black wood frame. There are a few spots of dried white material that can be removed from the bottom right side of the frame.
