Celebrating the very first NHL All-Star Game in 1947, this magnificent creation by the Roots company was made up on the occasion of the 2000 NHL All-Star Game in Toronto. Leather beauty has a huge chenille NHL patch sewn on the back with five embroidered stars arched above it. The front features chenille “All-Star Game 1947” patch sewn on the right breast and NHL shield patch on the left breast, with five white stars embroidered above it and “1st All Star Game” below it. Roots tagging in the neck has a size L flag tag and the Roots label sewn on the inside left breast pocket with a vintage NHL shield states that the jacket “commemorates the 1947 inaugural NHL All-Star Game and celebrates the 50th Anniversary All-Star Game, both played in Toronto.” This special First NHL All-Star Game Roots leather jacket remains in splendid condition overall with a few marks and stains from proud wear, mostly on the the left sleeve which has a Roots 2000 puck and stick patch sewn on it.
