Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2013
The hero of the Habs’ 2010 playoff run to the Eastern Conference final, goalie Jaroslav Halak placed a dedicated autograph on his Sher-Wood game-used stick. The Slovakian goalie played lights-out for the Montreal Canadiens in a pair of seven-game upsets of No. 1 seed Washington and reigning Stanley Cup champions Pittsburgh in the first two rounds of the playoffs in the spring of 2010. Halak has signed, “To Robert” along with a big bold black marker signature across his white tape job on the blade of his blue Sher-Wood SOP 9950 gamer with the “Halak” label applied to the shaft. All of Jaro’s tape jobs remain intact, including on the paddle, the handle and the knob, with all displaying solid wear. Crack-free beauty with really nice game use including red goalpost paint transfer on the handle.
