Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2013
The late Bob Probert signed the now-bare blade of his Black Hawks Koho Revolution game-used stick from the late-1990s. One of the most feared and offensively-gifted enforcers in NHL history, Probert placed a big bold black marker autograph across the front of the blade which has tape remnants along the bottom edge from Bob’s tape job which was removed for him to place his signature. “Probert” is stamped on the shaft and Bob’s nicely-worn white tape job remains intact on the knob. Solid and crack-free wood gamer has a few chips on the top edge of the blade and more game use shows in black marks on the shaft. Imagine the terror Probert’s opponents felt when seeing him drop this twig to the ice when it was “Go Time!”
