Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2013
The Hockey Hall of Fame will surely soon open its doors to welcome legendary defenseman Scott Niedermayer. A three-time Stanley Cup champion with the New Jersey Devils, Scott joined up with his brother Rob as he captained the Anaheim Ducks to the Cup in 2007, winning Conn Smythe honors on top of it all. The 2003-04 Norris Trophy winner, Scott also won Olympic gold in 2002 and 2010, the latter as Team Canada’s captain in Vancouver. “Niedermayer” is factory printed on the shaft of Scott’s Anaheim Ducks Easton Synergy game-used composite one-piece stick. Scott’s original white tape job remains on the knob. The now-bare blade had its black tape job removed as evidenced by remnants along the bottom edge. The top edge has a chip missing near the heel and the face of the blade has a horizontal crack on the surface, none of which diminishes this gamer’s display.
