Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2013
All-Star center Brad Richards has signed in bold silver paint pen across the now-bare blade of his Tampa Bay Lightning Easton Stealth game-used composite one-piece stick. A member of the 2000-01 NHL All-Rookie Team, the Prince Edward Island native won the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2004 when he led all playoff scorers with 26 points as the Lightning claimed the Stanley Cup with a seven-game win over Calgary. Richards also added the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy that season. “19 Richards” is printed in factory graphics on the shaft which retains Brad’s white tape job on the knob. Some tape remnants remain on the bottom edge of the blade where Richards’ tape job was removed for Brad to apply his nice big autograph. Game wear shows in paint chips low on the shaft.
