Nice stockpile of eight signed gamers originally from Luc Robitaille’s personal collection spans the HOFer’s legendary career. Lucky Luc has signed in black marker on his white tape job on the blade of his Louisville TPS Response Rubber one-piece composite stick with the “SC 02” notation in black marker low on the back of the shaft and his white tape job on the knob. Luc has signed in black marker across his white tape job on the blade of his Easton Synergy one-piece composite game-used stick with the “02 SC” notation low on the back of the shaft. Robitaille has signed on the white tape job on the blade of his Easton Synthesis one-piece composite game-used stick which has a “2003” notation low on the back of the shaft. “Measuring stick 1995” is handwritten in black marker on the back side of the white tape knob of Luc’s signed Louisville TPS two-piece stick with white tape wrapped around the aluminum shaft. He has signed in black marker across the white tape job on the Christian wood blade insert. Luc has signed in black marker towards the toe of his white tape job on the wood blade insert of his Innovative Inno 1100 Graphite two-piece gamer with his original white tape knob and an “11-13-03 #5” notation on the tape job at the heel. Luc has signed in black marker on his white tape job on the black composite blade insert on his Innovative two-piece composite game-used stick with L.A. Kings teammate Bryan Smolinski’s surname factory printed on the shaft below Luc’s white tape knob. “Robitaille 20” is stamped on the shaft of Luc’s Sher-Wood PMP 7000 game-used stick with “1989” handwritten low on the back of the shaft. The bottom strands of the tape job on the knob are loose. Luc has signed in black marker on the front of the toe which is bare where part of his tape job was removed. The front of the remaining tape job has a long strand hanging loose and there appears to be a black marker signature under the tape job on the back of the blade. There are two mounting holes drilled through the shaft and lightened black tape wrapped around the middle of the shaft. Luc placed a compact black marker signature on the heel of the Christian wood blade insert on his Louisville two-piece composite game-used stick. Robitaille’s tape job on the knob has a “802 #99 Asst” notation in black marker though this is not the model of stick Luc was using when he assisted on Wayne Gretzky’s record-breaking 802nd goal. Luc wrote the black marker notations on these sticks from his collection after he retired.
