Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2013
From the end of Luc Robitaille’s Hall of Fame NHL career comes one of the legendary left wing’s last game-used sticks from his special batch prepared for his last three games. Originally from Robitaille’s personal collection, offered here is his signed Warrior game-used stick, one of 60 prepared for him by Kings trainer Peter Millar to use during his last three games of the 2005-06 season. Lucky Luc signed across his tape job on the blade of his Warrior Dolomite gamer. Millar’s special symbol notations which he placed on Robitaille’s last batch of 60 game-used sticks on the back of the shaft include the number “50” along with his circled initials. Robitaille used these sticks in his three last games, 20 in each game. This special gamer retains his tape jobs on his custom-shaved blade and the knob, which has “Last Game” written in black marker which also denotes that this gamer is from the special batch Luc used for his last three games. A beauty from the most productive left wing in NHL history.
