Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2013
The incredible Ray Bourque used this 1990s Sher-Wood PMP 7030 Feather-Glas wood gamer during his long tenure as captain of the Boston Bruins. “Bourque R. 77” is stamped on the shaft which retains Ray’s white tape job on the knob, which has his legendary number “77” written on it in red marker. Factory coding appears on the bottom rear of the shaft along with a date stamp, which is illegible because it is obscured under the fiberglass coating. Ray’s black tape job on the blade of this game-used stick displays nice wear along the bottom edge. More solid game use shows in marks low on the shaft of this solid and crack-free gamer, which was used by one of the greatest defensemen in NHL history.
