Hall of Fame left wing Glenn Anderson signed his Oilers Canadien game-used stick. A two-time 54-goal scorer with Edmonton at the height of the Oilers’ Stanley Cup dynasty of the 1980s, Anderson scored at least 30 goals nine times during his career as he scored 498 goals and added 601 assists for 1,099 points in 1,129 regular season games. A five-time Cup champion with the Oilers, Glenn added a sixth title with the 1994 Rangers. “G. Anderson” is stamped on the shaft of Glenn’s Canadien 6001 wood gamer which retains his white tape knob with a well-worn outer wrap of blue gauze tape. An “x” is marked below that on the front of the shaft with Glenn’s retired number “9” a little farther down. Anderson placed a big bold silver paint pen autograph across his tape job on the front of the blade which is missing a couple of strands of tape in the middle on the back side. Solid and crack-free game-used stick has a chip on the top back edge low on the shaft above the heel and it displays great game use including red goalpost paint transfer, black marks, and nice wear to the bottom edge of the tape job on the blade.
