Center Mark Smith wore these two late-1990s AHL Kentucky Thoroughblades game-worn jerseys on his up to the NHL. Drafted 219th overall by San Jose in 1997, Smith enjoyed two productive seasons with the Thoroughblades on his way up to the Sharks. Offered are Smith’s home and away game-worn jerseys, each with the minor league team’s crest sewn on the front and the ABC Bastecki Chiropractic sponsor’s patch sewn on the right breast. The green gamer has SP tagging with a size 54 flag tag in the neck. Mark has signed the left “1” on the back in black marker. The AHL patch is sewn on the upper back between the collar and the nameplate. A round AHL patch is sewn to the right of the SP logo embroidered on the right rear tail. Game wear includes black marks and board burns on front tail and sleeves, which also have unrepaired burn holes. The white gamer has Bauer size 54 tagging in the neck, an oval AHL patch on the upper back between the collar and the nameplate, and a round AHL patch on the right rear tail to the right of the embroidered Bauer logo. Fantastic game wear with loads of black marks all over the front, which has a couple of fabric pulls, and all over the sleeves which also display good board burns.
