Fantastic blue 2003-04 Canucks game-worn NHL Vintage jersey was worn by defenseman Brent Sopel during Vancouver’s game in Montreal on November 25, 2003. Sopel assisted on Todd Bertuzzi’s game-winning goal early in the third period of the Canucks’ 5-2 win over the Canadiens at the Bell Centre that saw both teams wear special retro uniforms, including this gamer which evokes the jerseys Vancouver wore during the 1972-73 season. Vancouver’rs orginaol hockey stick rink logo is sewn on the front of the jersey which displays an NHL Vintage patch on the right breast. A size 58 flag tag is sewn in the back of the neck. Single-use gamer has obvious wear that includes black marks on the bottom of the team logo crest on the front, a solid board burn on the back of the left sleeve near the cuff, and a small board burn on the back of the right sleeve. “#3 Sopel” is handwritten in black marker on the fight strap and the MeiGray NHL Game Worn 2003-2004 Season patch sewn inside the rear hem has a registry number that corresponds to the one on the MeiGray LOA that accompanies this Canucks NHL Vintage gamer. Copies of the NHL game and event summaries included from the Canucks’ 5-2 win in Montreal on November 25, 2003 show that Sopel had 19:46 of ice time.
