Veteran American forward Mike Sullivan wore this 2001-02 Coyotes gamer during his final NHL season. Sullivan, who went on to coach the Boston Bruins, had a goal and two assists in 42 games in his fourth and final season in Phoenix. The Goals for Kids patch sits on the left shoulder of Sullivan’s game-worn jersey with size 54 and Made in Canada flag tags sewn over in the back of the neck by coarse nameplate stitching. The nameplate also has its ends folded under as sewn on the back. Something was removed from the left breast, possibly a temporary alternate captain’s A. Official 2001/02-1 Game Worn Jersey team patch is sewn inside the rear tail. Game wear shows in black marks that stand out on the sand-colored band around the front tail as well as board burns and unrepaired burn holes on both sleeves.
