Veteran forward Bill Berg wore this Rangers gamer in 1997-98 during his third and final season in New York at the tail end of his career. Berg, who played his final NHL season with Ottawa the following year, had one goal and nine assists in 67 games with the Blueshirts. White mesh Rangers home game-worn jersey from the second season of the Gretzky era on Broadway has Starter and size 56-R tagging in the neck. The Starter logo and NHL shield are embroidered on the right rear hem. New York Rangers 1997-98 Season MeiGray Group patch is sewn inside the left rear hem. Fantastic game wear includes loads of board burns and unrepaired burn holes on the sleeves, a slashing black mark on the lower left back to the left of the number “1” sewn on in blue and red drop-shadow double twill, black marks on and around the numbers on the left sleeve, board burns with unrepaired burn holes on the front of the left shoulder, and black marks on the upper right front and on the front tail.
