American center Scott Gomez wore this Canadiens home gamer during his injury-plagued 2011-12 campaign. The 1999-2000 Calder Trophy winner and a two-time Stanley Cup champion with New Jersey, Gomez had two goals and nine assists in 38 games in his last of three seasons in Montreal, which began with a 59-point season in his 2009-10 Habs debut followed by 14 points in 19 playoff games that spring. Gomez’s 2011-12 home gamer has a size 58 flag tag in the neck. A Canadiens 2011-12 game-worn jersey patch sewn inside the rear tail has the registry number that appears on the team LOA signed by equipment manager Pierre Gervais that accompanies this pre-season game-worn jersey which indicates this jersey is from the team’s “Home Set 2”, as per the “2” handwritten in black marker in the thread outline of the Reebok patch sewn on the back. A hologram sticker affixed to the bottom of the right “1” sewn on the back of Scott’s #11 game-worn jersey matches the one on the LOA. Very light game wear includes a light board burn on the blue band on the back of the right sleeve and a fabric pull on the back of the left sleeve with a long loose red thread near the cuff.
